What we're looking for

Vacasa is currently seeking a hard-working Groundsekeeper who will embody our values while ensuring the groundskeeping needs of Island Inn are met.

This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position now and employment is expected to end on or around 10/31/2023. While the company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date, there may be additional opportunities within this or other roles.

What you'll do

• Maintain the grounds at Island Inn, based on seasonal needs
• Meet and maintain Vacasa standards and metrics such as standard appearance and efficiency
• Keep walkways clear of debris and snow
• Irrigation/ sprinklers when applicable
• Gather and remove trash
• Assist with seasonal maintenance projects
• Maintain required Maintenance Metrics on efficiency and utilize Vacasa's ticketing system
• Coordinate with third-party service providers.
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different

The skills you'll need

• Prior landscaping/grounds experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone and personal email address
• Ability to regularly lift over 20 lbs
• Self-motivated and customer service oriented
• Ability to see projects through to completion
• Ability to properly assess problems and provide solutions
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed to support the needs of the business
• Reasonable comfort level with computers and smart devices

Compensation

• $22 - $24 / hour
