The USD Communication Sciences and Disorders department is seeking a secretary for the Sioux Falls Scottish Rite Children’s Clinic.
This is a part-time benefits eligible (24 hours per week) position in a rich environment that provides speech and language intervention for children and their families. This position is grant-funded. Continuation of the position is dependent on grant funding.
The duties include: greet visitors, answer phones; answer and/or route inquiries; route mail; schedule appointments; compose, review and finalize correspondence, forms, and reports to ensure accuracy; maintain accurate records of fiscal activities to track expenditures; perform data entry for analysis of program activities; establish and maintain computerized and manual filing systems; perform other duties as assigned.

- maintain accurate financial records and schedule appointments;
- analyze and organize information;
- make decisions on the best course of action in various circumstances;
- manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines;
- communicate effectively, in English, in oral and written forms;
- answer telephone and greet visitors;
- maintain confidentiality.
