General Job Functions:

Must have excellent customer service skills. At least 2 years of Supervisor Experience required. Supervisor must be able to supervise 6+ officers. Attention to detail and ability to maintain order is key. Must be computer literate. Experience with Winteam|Ehub is a plus.

Shift & Hours: Monday - Friday 6:00AM-2:00PM with second and third shift and weekend availability as needed.

As a Gate Attendent Officer, you will perform general security duties in the protection of persons and property of a gated residential community. You will be responsible for the enforcement of all applicable policies, rules and regulations of the client and its surrounding grounds, with a concentration on gate access-control.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

• Follow access-control procedures for a gated, residential community
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Communicate by use of telephones and computers
• Call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service

What Will You Need as a Gate Attendent Security Officer at North America Security?

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background screening & drug screening
• Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass MVR
• Prior supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or related fields is preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a reliable method of communication and transportation
• Applicants must be able to handle themselves professionally in a social setting and/or resident community
• Applicants must be able to handle difficult situations professionally and be willing to work with supervisors when necessary
• Ability to utilize android phones, data entry software, printer/scanner/copier/fax
