Job description
The Medical Surgical Group strives to enable earlier diagnosis, better treatment, faster complication-free recovery, and enhanced patient outcomes through less invasive surgical solutions.
As the Senior Alliance Account Manager you will promote the Surgical Innovation (SI) product portfolio to drive revenue at the C-suite and hospital executive level. You will have primary responsibility for C-suite and hospital executive relationships, understanding their challenges, targeting Surgical Innovation solutions, and developing and executing cross-SI portfolio contracts for these opportunities.

A Day in the Life
We offer you a position where you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
- Develop and maintain partnerships within Alliance accounts to understand, align, and support customer initiatives, identify optimal SI solutions, close business, and solidify our contract position. Assigned accounts may include large academic and regional medical centers and competitive accounts
- Coordinate and collaborate with regionally aligned field sales team to drive incremental SI revenue and achieve target sales goals
- Act as contracting expert for cross-SI portfolio sales opportunities within assigned regions
- Partner with internal contracting, pricing, and finance teams and utilize available analytics tools to drive account strategy and sales execution
- Creatively position and incorporate value-delivering program offerings, including equipment agreements and leasing options
- Partner with the Strategic Portfolio Solutions team to drive Medical Surgical strategy, focusing on cross-divisional opportunities to expand SI revenue and increase overall Medtronic footprint
- Effectively utilize and update sales tools to manage strategic business plans
- Provide individualized consultation to customer regarding the clinical and economic value of the SI portfolio
- Complete all assigned projects and administrative duties in a timely manner
- Consistently maintain all Vendor Credentialing requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university
- 5 years of field sales experience
