Senior Family Law Associate

Job Description:

Our senior family law attorney will carry a family law caseload from consultation to resolution, with significant autonomy to develop strategy and shepherd clients through the family law process. The caseload will include cases in Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties.

This position offers significant flexibility and autonomy with solid administrative support, strong potential for growth, and a competitive income and benefits package.

Qualifications:

You have at least 3 years of substantive, successful first chair family law experience in Wake County or a similar jurisdiction.

Candidates with a North Carolina law license in hand are strongly preferred. Experienced candidates who are awaiting a North Carolina law license and who have relevant family law experience in other states will be considered.

You balance empathy for clients with the professional distance that allows you to practice family law for the long term.

You communicate effectively in court, with other attorneys, and with clients, and people trust you.
