BrightStar Care has an opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our team!

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary from $58,000 - $60,000 per year
- Weekly pay via direct deposit

- Full cycle billing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, claim appeals, cash receipts posting, and financial statement preparation
- Preparation of weekly payroll utilizing proprietary EMR system and ADP
- Preparation of monthly reconciliations, analysis reports, and cash flow projections
- In addition to standard accounting functions, will handle interaction with patients regarding patient balances and arrangement of payment plans, if needed.
- No medical experience is necessary but must have a solid full charge bookkeeping experience
- Must have 5+ years hands-on experience as a full-charge bookkeeper
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and social skills
- Experience with Great Plains (Microsoft GP) software is a MUST
- Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
- Must have solid experience using Excel and other MS products
