The Senior BSA Specialist – Officer serves as a key control for risk mitigation and therefore must have a thorough understanding of the requirements associated with the BSA, AML and OFAC processes. This position will also provide assistance and support throughout other BSA teams as needed.
What You'll Do
Conducts quality assessment evaluations of all BSA, AML and OFAC areas to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulatory guidelines with a focus on providing advisory and best practice recommendations.
Reviews and proofs BSA program documents including Policy, Procedures, and Risk Assessments.
Facilitates the Risk and Control Self-Assessment for the department.
Assesses and participates in UAT testing, assists with audit and exam preparation, and maintains oversight of BSA training throughout the enterprise.
Qualifications and Experience
7-10 years banking experience and 7+ years BSA experience.
Working knowledge of various laws, regulations and guidance as it relates to BSA, AML and OFAC.
Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
CAMS certification or other BSA related certification preferred
