Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support the mining group with technical process engineering leadership located in Denver Colorado. The Senior Process Engineer will join our expanding Mine Tailings Design Team. This position may include client management, project management along with technical leadership. Projects may include developing preliminary design reports, detailed design and contract administration, hydraulic distribution system modeling, water systems design, energy evaluations for mine tailings and mine for leach facilities
Responsibilities of this position may include, but not limited to:
- Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team for mid-large sized projects
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
- Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
- Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
- Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
- Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
- Prepares technical specification sections.
- Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
+ BA/BS + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional Engineer’s license in Colorado
+ Project experience in the evaluation, planning, design and construction of industrial water
+ Experience with developing proposals, schedules and budgets

+ Regional project site travel required (up to 20%)
+ Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The target salary range for this position is $110,000 - $180,000.
