SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

BOCA RATON, FL
HYBRID
FULL-TIME - PERM
$125k to $150k per year + BENEFITS

DESCRIPTION:

At ttg we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join one of our amazing clients in Boca Raton, FL. If you are looking for a place to grow with a dynamic company, this can be your opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Using best coding practices and procedures:
• Support and maintain existing Java code base
• Develop reusable and flexible applications
• Fix defects
• Update and maintain documentation for the application
• Perform peer code reviews
• Communicate with all departments within the organization
• Work with project managers and business analysts to provide time estimates for new development
• Work with support team to resolve issues
• Communicate and troubleshoot technical issues with clients
• Ensure projects are completed on or before development delivery dates

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be familiar with full development cycle of Java based web applications using the following technologies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a similar technical field of study
• 6+ years of experience developing programs and/or applications using Java
• Experience using Maven/Gradle
• Experience with relational databases
• Experience with No SQL Databases
• Experience exposing or consuming APIs
• Experience with data structures and algorithms
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
• Must be able to work in the USA without any restrictions
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Able to work in office and remotely
• Able to work outside of normal business hours, as needed
• Access to a remote working environment with a modern computer, a computer camera, a telephone and high-speed internet
• Preferred: Experience using Git, Jira, Agile, SaaS, Microservices
• Able to successfully complete an online algorithm test during the interview
