Seeking a local, well-organized, clean, and detail-oriented senior maintenance person. Must have the highest integrity, be responsible and highly reliable. This person will maintain the interior and exterior of building and property. This includes preventative maintenance of building, guest rooms, indoor pool, spa, common areas, and property.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Required to work independently with little supervision; work will be reviewed, tracked, and inspected

- Typical work will include: Painting, texturing, drywall; plumbing; HVAC adjustments; moving and repairing furniture; maintaining pool and spa; appliance repair; landscaping; supervising vendors; supervising construction, roofing and other crews under direction of owner/ management; emptying trash cans, breaking down boxes and take to dumpster; replacing building light bulbs; climbing ladder; and other general maintenance and repair work

- Required to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with customers and manager/staff

- Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues with electronics, appliances, etc.

- Occasional work in housekeeping when short-staffed

- Must communicate effectively and be able to keep accurate records and work logs

- Required to maintain landscaping, grounds, parking lot, and shovel and lay ice melt in winter

- Required to work safely and in compliance with regulations

- Job may require heaving lifting (up to 100lbs) and bending

- May be required to do other work as needed, including laundry and assisting housekeepers with deep clean

- Report directly to manager and owner

HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:

- Hours will be scheduled according to business needs and are variable - Weekends and holidays are required

- Will be required to be on-call and/or work overtime, especially during peak seasons and for special events

- Close to full-time position

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must possess valid Washington State driver's license and a clean driving record

- Must have reliable transportation/own vehicle

- Maintain neat, well-groomed, appearance

- A minimum of 2-years’ experience in building maintenance and repair, experience with basic plumbing, electrical, finish carpentry, etc.

- Must be local due to snowy conditions in the winter

- No criminal history

- Background check and reference check required

- Random drug testing required

PAY:

- Starts at $20, depending on experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

- Must be able to read, write, and follow precise instructions

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Maintenance: 2 to 5 years preferred
