Senior Manager, Hype Horizontal Priorities (Fashion Influencer Accounts)
Job description
- Develop and own general (not concept specific) ownership of Market, Fashion Influencer (FI) and key account interaction across input and handover process.
- Drive meeting cadence to align with markets in which HYPE ABOVE MARKET (HAM) business leads can plug in and own concept specific discussions.
- Driving the accuracy of financial planning for selected key markets across CC&P by owning horizontal market input process and ongoing tracking via IBP process.
- Contribute and drive financial planning for Fashion Influencer alliance accounts across all labels/Business Units on global brand side and partner with market and sales stakeholders.
- Owning the handover communications for all layers to markets on calendar and general updates (e.g., hard launch dates, concept changes etc.). Input to be provided by HAM business leads.
- Support, drive and input to FI strategy and role for alliance FI accounts from a brand perspective for defined strategic accounts/co-creation accounts.
- Own, plan and drive FI interaction on global brand side and act account facing as point of contact for 5 strategic accounts (Kith, Atmos, SNS, END, DSM and more) and MFI accounts to land global strategy in close alignment with market BU/sales teams and global sales.
- Drive strategy/content for FI related handover across labels and categories
- Own, drive and plan FI related milestones and enable elevated interaction model in close alignment with local market teams including tasks as budget ownership, planning & execution, travel & entertainment (hotel, flights, restaurants), location set-up & samples, x-functional alignment content/presenters & agenda, meeting rooms in close collaboration with HAM ops team
- Support and input on operating model, process, and milestones with FI needs & realities in mind.
- Align FI specific sample needs with market/cluster and global brand teams to enable impactful FI milestones/meetings. (Comment: sample order remains in HAM ops)
- Align and identify sample needs for FI specific concepts (SMU/premium inline extension) for content creation & activation purposes (comment: sample order remains in HAM ops)
- Own, plan and drive assortment planning for FI distribution across all creation layers, BU’s and creation centers and in alignment with NAM Hype Above Market team.
- Drive hype merchandising across all labels and BU’s (including SMU) from range planning, briefing to assortment planning based on FI needs. (Product and broader merch strategy owned by BU/inline merch team)
- Analyze FI business to plan & influence impactful FI assortment across all BU and layers.
- Support additional sell in/handover requirements for FI accounts

- Cross Functional Teams across brand: Merchandising, DTC, adidas E-Commerce Teams, Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, Design, Category/BU’s, Development, Planning, Analytics, Operations, Sourcing, and Insights, Comms.
- Market/Cluster Teams: Managers in the Markets/clusters, BU Managers/Category Managers in Markets/clusters, Sales & CTC market/cluster teams, market/cluster comms & activation
- Fashion Influencer Accounts with focus on global strategic key accounts
- Proficiency with MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer software (Internet, POS Systems, etc.)
- Knowledge of merchandising management systems
- A strong background in go to market, brand marketing, product marketing optimal
- Digital marketing experience beneficial

- University degree in business/marketing or related field or equivalent professional experience required.
- 5+ years of retail, merchandising, buying, eCom experience.
- Up to 2 years of managerial experience (if applicable/ required)
- Previous global, wholesale, retail, digital/ecom, vertical experience in merchandising, buying.
- Profound work experience in diverse, global & or a matrix organization
- Detailed theoretical and practical knowledge in functional area.
- Experience in Product Creation, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising, strategic Go-To-Market Planning & Allocation a plus.
