We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst. This position will translate the demand plan into purchase and inventory plans that will allow Federal-Mogul to meet sales and service objectives for a product line or group of product lines. Collaboration with other members of the supply chain, sales, marketing, and customer support teams is paramount to achieve these objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue purchase orders to vendors; order book management
- Follow-up on outstanding purchase orders with vendors
- Monitor and redistribute excess inventory
- Monitor non-moving or slow-moving inventory and recommend actions
- Answer customer availability inquiries
- Ensure packaging and labeling requirements are met
- Prepare, report, and communicate inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets). Analyze and measure their impact.
- Daily communication with customers on requirements, fulfillment, priorities
- Review and maintain EDI data on assigned customers.
- Update customer websites for shipment and requirement acknowledgements
- Production scheduling of shop orders for assigned customers’ requirements
- Ensure the orderly introduction and phase out of part numbers for assigned customers
- Regularly identify and implement cost reductions, waste elimination, process improvements
- Maintain open communications with team and ensure timely resolution to issues
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree required or minimum of 5 years work experience in similar role
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning.
- Strong analytical skills - ability to identify issues, develop solutions, drive resolution.
- Knowledge of demand planning process within automotive aftermarket
- Experience using SAP/APO or SAP/SNP(preferred) or other ERP statistical software packages
- Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and Team building skills
- Strong Excel skill set
- Detail oriented
- Extreme accuracy
- Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilities
- Experience with MRP functionality
- Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.
- Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory.
- Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory.
- Progressive experience and demonstrated results in various Supply Chain roles.
- Strong project management experience with a record of results and achievement. A demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines is important.
- A strong sense of urgency and to be proactive.
- Strong personal work ethic; an honest and straightforward manner; the highest personal and professional ethics.
- Analytical and able to solve technical problems; able to visualize and conceptualize concepts and ideas.
- Able to quickly grasp and understand technical concepts and applications.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,200.00 - $141,600.00 per year
