Compensation: $80k-95k
Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Contract Position
Our growing team is looking for an experienced person to help our company find and retain excellent employees. You will be entrusted with an ongoing request to discover talent, building a strong employment brand and ensure great relationships with both candidates and employees.
Your Day-to-Day
- Lead recruiting, staffing, and hiring activities in support of the company.
- Identify hiring needs and work collaboratively with key executives to clarify position requirements and develop effective recruitment practices, processes, and strategies.
- Network, source, build, and maintain a talent pipeline, and attract highly skilled professionals.
- Manage the full cycle hiring process, including scheduling of candidate interviews, management of interview feedback to influence hiring decisions and participates in proposal recruiting.
- Collaborate with the Director of HR to prepare staffing strategy for existing and future needs and provides staffing/hiring metrics to Senior Leadership.
- Identify, recommend, and implement operational improvements to streamline hiring processes and procedures.
- Work with Program Managers and leadership on proposal efforts in regards to staffing.
- Assist the HR team in general HR duties, including conducting onboarding activities, assisting with compliance training, and staying current on federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, specifically talent acquisition
- 3+ years of experience leading the development and implementation of talent acquisition programs and processes in a fast-paced environment, and ideally in startups
- Bachelor’s degree desired.
- Knowledge of social media and professional networks such as LinkedIn
- Understanding of employment laws
- Experience with multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing needs and generate new solutions to recruiting challenges.
- Critical and data-driven approach to managing candidate pipelines and stakeholders.
- Experience recruiting within the Intelligence Community, specifically recruiting for candidates with TS/SCI clearances and polygraphs, is a plus
