Position Summary:
The Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration is responsible for financial stewardship of PHP and our clients.

Essential Functions:
  • Provides council to Chief Executive Officer in formulating and administering organization policies.
  • Confers with CEO and other Executive staff to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives
  • Meets internal and external clients service expectations as they relate to PHP value streams
  • Formulates and administers company policies and develops long range goals and objectives
  • Provides direction and departmental leadership.
  • Conducts positive negotiations, compromises, handles conflict, seeks common ground, articulates own and others goals, and stays focused on positive outcome
  • Operates within the organization’s structures, builds allies and relationships across departments, uses allies to build consensus and create results, is appropriately diplomatic, understands others’ roles and perspectives, and sells projects and ideas across the organization
  • Plans for and uses resources efficiently, looks for ways to reduce costs, creates accurate and realistic budgets, tracks and adjusts budgets, and contributes to budget planning for PHP and our clients
  • Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies
  • Analyzes the financial details of past, present, and expected operations to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
  • Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
  • Exercises a high degree of ethics, initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve company objectives
  • Assumes responsibility for producing desired results for the company and its clients
This position is a full-time Hybrid role. Our business hours are Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
Travel: Up to 30% local travel

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of company’s strategic business objectives and employee performance objectives
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, legal codes, government regulations, and health care fiscal regulations and reporting requirements
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to perform in a high-pressure deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a diverse audience
  • Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ Degree
    • Masters’ degree preferred
  • 5 - 7 years of fiscal management experience with 3 years in a health care organization
  • Home office that is HIPAA compliant for all remote or telecommuting positions as outlined by the company policies and procedures.
