Guest Attendant - Server | Alamo Drafthouse Springfield
POSITION SUMMARY
Alamo’s Guest Attendant will have the pleasure of serving our theater guests and being their point of contact for food and beverage delivery. You will maintain the highest level of Alamo’s awesome hospitality and safety standards so our guests can enjoy a safe, clean, distraction free, and enjoyable environment. You will also have the responsibility to guide guests into the theaters as soon after their arrival as possible. Keeping guest safety and hospitality in mind, you will need to be a friendly face while maintaining physical distancing and cleaning of the venue in mind.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all safety standards
Maintain world class cleanliness standards for theater seats, handrails, tables, the lobby and commonly touched areas
Opens and closes doors
Is knowledgeable about Alamo policies and procedures
Troubleshoots guest issues with the support of the management team
Uphold communication standards with managers and crew
Keeps lines and people moving to and from the theater to avoid too many humans in one area
Helps usher guests into and out of the theater in an orderly manner to avoid clustering of humans and maintaining physical distancing
Launching and managing the guests’ orders from POS entry to delivery
Ensure order cards, safety, and guests needs are being taken care in multiple theaters
Organizes and leads the theater cleans, ensuring that each occupied seat is marked and cleaned and sanitized before the next film
Maintains a kindness and understanding
Coordinates with managers and the sanitation crew when a theater is ready to be disinfected
Seats theater only after full cleaning, sanitation, and disinfecting has occurred
Maintains high food safety standards
Participates in all safety related policies and procedures
Is knowledgeable about films playing and menu
QUALIFICATIONS
A really great attitude, and the ability to share that attitude with the guests and team working with you to achieve the best Alamo experience for All.
Be a movie lover, cinema goer, and have an understanding in the Alamo for All experience.
Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to stand/walk for 90% of the shift.
Talent for creating a memorable guest connection.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekend, and shifts from morning through late night.
Comfortable with wearing a cloth or face-covering at all times.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at one time and repeatedly during your entire shift.
Ability to move with caution and operate in a dimly lit environment and sometimes loud environment.
