About The Job:
This individual is responsible for obtaining and inputting information received for DME (Durable Medical Equipment) referrals and follow through for compliance. This person will serve as a resource for internal/external customers requesting MercyOne North Iowa DME services while collaborating with clinical staff regarding referrals.
What we are looking for:
Education [formal]:
Associates of Arts preferably in a healthcare related field
Experience:
M ust have experience of one or more years in a medical setting
Previous DME experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Special Skills and Competencies:
Must possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
Must possess critical thinking, problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and utilize effective communication skills.
Must be able to prioritize duties and function within a fast-paced environment.
Proficient computer and typing skills
