MTX Components, LLC. is a growing Utah brand within the outdoor & cycling industry. Started in 2019 and now with over 550 dealers throughout the US, Canada and abroad, we supply bicycle retailers with premium products and back it up with outstanding customer service through our B2B and consumer-direct sales model.

Role Summary

The shipping coordinator is a detail-oriented position that manages all packaging and shipping for all of our daily consumer-direct and dealer-direct orders. You will package the product that we receive from our factory and process all orders through our shipping system. This role also requires the careful delivery of packages daily to our local USPS and UPS drop-off locations.

This position is a flexible part time role that would best-suit a college student with a varied schedule. The job would ideally merge into a Monday through Friday role during the summer months.

Ideally the candidate is into cycling and loves any and all categories of the sport - this job will come with great industry perks and is a fun & exciting category to work in, especially for the avid cycling enthusiast.

No experience necessary regarding specifics of this role.

Being a cycling and/or outdoor enthusiast is a huge plus.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

• Package product which is typically 100+ sets per day
• Monitor daily and incoming orders in real-time
• Track inventory of product and warehouse supplies
• Handle & process returns & exchanges
• Keep work area clean
• Deliver orders to our local UPS and USPS locations once per day
• Be pro-active - take initiative to find ways to make our shipping department better, more organized and efficient.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand most of the day - sitting down is for a boring office cubicle job
• Possess outstanding attention to detail
• General Mac OS computer skills (will train if needed).
• Be mindful of the details, focused on efficiency and productivity
• Keep our work area organized and tidy
• Be timely and bring a positive attitude to the workplace
• Off-season hours can be 18-20 hours per week (mid-October through March and October-December); peak-season hours will be 20-40 hours per week (April through October). This can be a flexible position for the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 pound boxes on occasion

Pay Range

• This is an hourly position starting at $18.00 / hr.
