Job DescriptionHaala a company of Barrywehmiller is hiring!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for material transactions.
- Able to operate a pay-loader, forklift and band and package product for shipment (Will train)
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches. This should be 6-10 bullet points of the current responsibilities or duties.
QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior forklift and operator experience a plus.
- Lock out/tag out certification required (will train to achieve certification).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment with all levels of employees.
- Able to be self-motivated, takes initiative and has positive problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, dedication, dependability and timeliness.
- Able to use hand tools.
- Basic mathematics skills and be able to read a measuring tape.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to understand and read the English language and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Commitment to building a positive culture.
- Perform work standing for eight-ten hours per day, up to six days per week.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT- Works in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.

- Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications
- Unloads delivery vehicles, and moves items to appropriate area. Inspects all shipments for damage
- Compares items and quantities received against freight bills or other records, and documents any discrepancies
- Maintains records of all items received and shipped
- Other duties as assigned
