Purpose:

Administers the non-inventory P.O. process in SAP, supports the inventory replenishment and plant logistics processes to maximize the efficiency of the plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibility includes the management of activities for the safety, integrity, legality and quality of our food products.
• Administers the (NPR) non-inventory purchase order system in SAP by closely working with plant personnel to ensure P.O.’s are setup properly in SAP and products/services are received into SAP in a timely manner.
• Investigates all old open P.O.s
• Codes all invoices received at the plant with correct P.O. number and sends to Corporate A/P for payment.
• Works closely with Corporate A/P to trouble shoot any PO related problems and ensures that Corporate A/P references the correct P.O. when paying an invoice so the plant is not double charged.
• Works closely with warehouse personnel to ensure proper freight related paperwork (BOL’s pick sheets) is complete and available for freight carriers.
• Supports as needed the releases of SAP orders to warehouse.
• Schedules Fed Ex inbound and outbound shipments.
• Serves as the main contact for sample orders placed with plant.
• Supports the plant replenishment process for inventory related purchases.
• Supports Operations by entering downtime data into the downtime tracking system.
• Supports product safety, quality, and legality.
• Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
