We are a local manufacturer and supplier of light gauge metal building products offering a full-time position to an experienced CDL-Class A delivery driver. This is a highly active and physically demanding position. Daily activities include year-round interstate and intrastate travel on highways and to off-road jobsite locations, rural and residential. This position primarily consists of loading and unloading materials on-site, using a truck-mounted forklift or boom. Delivery destinations change daily and are not on a route.

Essential Duties:

• Load and unload building materials on-site using forklift or boom
• Load and unload customers and vendors as part of will-call service
• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors and co-workers
• Maintain accurate log books and time records
• Document jobsite and other delivery information
• Ensure products are delivered in excellent condition
• Careful assessment of job-site hazards and limitations
• Maintain a clean vehicle, forklift and equipment
• Perform general maintenance on truck, forklift and/or boom
• Attend safety and other work-related training
• Follow all company policies, procedures and protocols
• General knowledge of our product line

Equipment Used:

• Manual transmission trucks
• Straight Truck with boom/crane
• Forklifts
• Multiple length flat-bed trailers

Shift:

• Monday - Friday, hours determined by daily delivery schedule
• May include occasional overnight deliveries within delivery area

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Class A driving experience
• Class-A CDL
• Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb on loads
• Typical start time at 5am Maintain E logs (occasionally paper logs)
• Occasional long hauls, 1-2 nights average
