Royal Arabians combines a love for horses and passion for the Equine Athlete. Royal Arabians is dedicated to producing exceptional Arabian Horses in both the Halter and Performance Division. We are devoted to providing exceptional care, and committed to work together to deliver successful outcomes for their clients. At our Rio Verde location, we are a large training facility with 2 full time trainers and over 60 horses in training.

Job Description

This position will support and work cohesively with a team dedicated to the care and condition of 60+ training horses. We are looking to hire a motivated, dependable individual looking to learn about the care, conditioning and show preparation of an Arabian Performance horse. Candidates should be self starters, taking initiative and personal pride in the care and cleanliness of the horses and property. Work week is Monday-Friday and half days on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Feed grain along with supplements accurately according to each horse’s individual needs.
• Groom and tack horses to prepare them for work.
• Blanket appropriately.
• Turn in and turn out.
• Clipping and bathing.
• Assist with basic medical care.
• Paid travel to Horse Shows.

Qualifications

• Previous horse experience is required but does not have to be in our Discipline.
• Ability to work around horses in a safe manner
• Excellent communication skills with supervisors, team members, and clients
• Additional qualifications include physical stamina and strength, attention to detail, the ability to remain calm around the horses, and a flexible schedule.
