Position Overview:

Our Innovations at VP Team is seeking to hire a Showroom Sales Associate with bath and plumbing fixture sales experience join our Syracuse showroom. Our Syracuse showroom is open Tuesday-Friday from 9AM-5PM and Saturdays from 9AM-2PM.

Responsibilities:

• Work with homeowners, builders, and contractors in regard to new construction and remodeling projects.
• Provide sales and consulting services to trade/design customers, industry partners, and retail customers.
• Provide superior customer service to both VP's existing and potential customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Generate quotes for current and prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and their representatives.
• Coordinate scheduled showroom visits, as well as handle walk-in customer appointments.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a retail or commercial environment is preferred.
• Prior experience selling bath and plumbing fixtures, highly desired.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to meet customer deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to time sensitive commitments to respond to customers and deliver excellent customer service.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a retail setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While a somewhat sedentary role, frequent standing on feet up to 8 hours/day and some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may occasionally be required.
