As a Software Engineering Core Lead, you will have visibility across all of Software Engineering to ensure the team’s success. You will coordinate successful hiring and onboarding of new and replacement positions, as well as monitor attrition. Additionally, you’ll lead the creation, implementation, and monitoring of employee onboarding processes to align teams on the Software Engineering Signature processes. You will drive the creation of, and alignment to, FS&D and SE policies, procedures, and goals in collaboration with Software Engineering managers, leaders, and other FS&D leaders.
Working with the Software Engineering Leader, you will engage with other Software Engineering leaders to manage the growth in alignment with the budget and strategic goals.
Beyond hiring and growth, you’ll also track the health of Software Engineering and Software Engineering teams.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5 years in a people leadership role
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Capable of identifying core issues and helping to solve them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice, but not required:
- Experience with budgets
- Experience leading projects from a strategic perspective
- An understanding of Software Life Cycle Management
- Proven success in a project coordination role
- Nimble mind, focused on delivering creative solutions
