Position Title: Swing Shift Soldering Tech
Job Summary: Are you a skilled soldering technician with a passion for creating and fixing electronic gadgets? We are looking for an energetic and experienced soldering tech to join our team for our swing shift. As a Swing Shift Soldering Tech, you will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic devices and gadgets. You will also play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Solder electronic components to PCB boards and other devices, ensuring that all connections are made to industry standards.
- Conduct tests and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues with the soldering work and electrical connections.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to make improvements to the product design and manufacturing processes.
- Follow strict quality control procedures to ensure that all finished products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain and operate soldering equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition and properly calibrated.
- Keep an organized and clean work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively with other team members to share knowledge and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive team culture that values collaboration, creativity, and innovation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in soldering and assembly of electronic components and devices.
- Knowledge of industry-standard soldering techniques and tools, including hand tools and automated equipment.
- Understanding of basic electronics and electrical principles, including reading schematics and identifying electronic components.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Willingness to work swing shifts and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
