Summary:
In this role, you will lead the strategy development and execution of custom member contracts to reduce spend, improve operational efficiencies, and maximize delivered value for member needs in purchased services. You will work remotely with a member based on the West Coast and working hours will be in Pacific Standard Time (PST). You will develop negotiation strategies that minimize losses while managing the competitive sourcing process of final agreements. You will also plan and manage projects and/or work streams to achieve Vizient’s financial goals for portfolio utilization.
Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain relationships with the member staff and Vizient stakeholders.

Establish and elevate strategic relationships with key suppliers in a specific service line.

In collaboration with the stakeholders, determine all requirements necessary for local inclusion as well as identify, prioritize, and execute on current and future variation and utilization opportunities.

Develop and implement business processes to meet financial goals, and objective scoring tools to analyze RFP for diligence and accuracy.

Ensure review of all terms and conditions for agreements in compliance with legal/risk, obtaining best value, and actively working in support of regulatory requirements to ensure full accreditation and compliance.

Execute business strategies to reduce risk, enhance customer satisfaction, build/maintain positive relationships, improve profitability, and support opportunities.

Provide leadership and participation in all vendor business reviews, identifying, analyzing, and managing innovative cost savings, clinical variation strategies, and meeting all terms, conditions, and performance requirements.
Qualifications:

Relevant degree preferred.

7 or more years’ experience required.

Previous experience presenting to surgeons, physicians, clinical department leadership required.

Familiarity with contract terminology, legal and risk management in negotiations requirements.

Previous experience presenting to surgeons, physicians, clinical department leadership required

Experience in healthcare category management highly preferred.

Experience in health care supply cost management and contracting preferred.

Ability to coach and support others through leadership and collaborative partnership skills.

Proven ability in operational planning.

Experience in developing customized solutions for large complex organizations with suppliers using consultative skills.

Ability to excel, lead, and influence in a matrix environment.

Strong relationship building and strategic partnering skills.

Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range:
$102,400.00 - $152,200.00
