Professional Merchandiser for Carmela Specialty Foods and Fine Wines
Position Overview
· You will be traveling throughout the area acting as the representative of our company merchandising our company’s products to established retail customers
· Manage merchandising calls to the delivery schedule and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the delivery process (for example, out of stock items, special order items, low inventory, etc.)
· Desire to advance into sales with one of the fastest growing wine companies in MI
· Part-time position to start working towards full-time in peak season
Qualifications
· Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
· Current automobile insurance – must be maintained
· Ability to manage a merchandising schedule and communicate with reps and accounts
· Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
· Self-starter—must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job
· Driven, team player that is motivated to take responsibility and ensure successful outcomes.
· Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds in a fast-paced working environment
· Willingness to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends
· Attention to detail is a must, leaving our products looking better than the rest
