Speech-Language Pathologist

Our organization is urgently pursuing a Speech-Language Pathologist for an amazing school district in Somerville, MA on a full-time basis! They will also be required to work Monday-Friday! This role starts immediately until the end of the school year!

Job Duties Include:

• Have experience working in a school setting
• Complete required documentation and data collection necessary for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Meet regularly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss individual students' modifications or adaptations, ongoing learning issues, interventions, or problems.
• Work collaboratively to ensure students' needs are met.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with parents, staff, and students on progress.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on appropriate committees.
• Conduct speech and language case study evaluations.
• Serve as a resource to school staff members in the development of a balanced program for oral communication and speech improvement.
• Develop an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) for each student placed in speech-language therapy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and Active Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License of Speech-Language and Hearing Disorders (All Levels)
• Current and Active Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Be able to commute to Somerville, MA 02143
