We are looking to add a Sportsbook Writers to our retail team. As a Sportsbook Writer you will primarily be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while processing all wagering transactions at our retail location in Wrigley Field. You will be developing and building relationships with guests, service and monitor betting kiosks and maintaining the working area of the sportsbook.

What you’ll do as a Sportsbook Writer:

• Explain, educate and assist customers with sports wagering at OTC and kiosks.

• Conduct wagering transactions fast, accurate and flawlessly.

• Maintain and balance a bank drawer.

• Handle large sums of cash.

• Update and manage kiosks.

• Restock sportsbook supplies.

• Monitor and communicate patron betting behavior.

• Clean and organize work sportsbook area.

• Meet and adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures, guidelines and criteria.

• Be an advocate of the property and DraftKings.

What you'll bring:

• Minimum six (6) months Sportsbook Writer experience and/or one (1) year casino experience.

• Cash handling experience.

• College degree or related field experience required.

• Strong working knowledge in state and federal regulatory and compliance sectors.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite and SaaS applications.

• Experience in performance risk analysis, issue management, and change management.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment with limited supervision.

• Proven ability to successfully manage third party and customer relationships.

Must be at least 21 years of age due to state(s) licensing requirements.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $16.00 - $24.00 hourly, plus tips. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
