Sr. Behavioral Intervention Specialist – Master’s Req’d

Citizens Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) provide support and services for people with I/DD who have multiple cognitive, medical and/or physical disabilities requiring 24-hour support and supervision. The people we support are medically complex, with program plans tailored to meet their individual needs. We are seeking a Senior Behavioral Intervention Specialist to:

· Provide services designed to maximize the intellectual, social, and emotional development and functioning of individuals receiving services under the supervision of Director of Behavioral Health services.

· Supervise entry level Behavioral Intervention Specialists.

· Practice and promote the agency mission statement in every interaction.

· Provide ongoing support to people in becoming active participants in every aspect of their lives and to ensure that a high quality of life is maintained.

We require:

· Must have Master’s degree from a program in a clinical or treatment field of Psychology, Social Work, School Psychology, or Applied Psychology.

· SCIP-R and CPR certification required.

· 5 years of experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavior support plans and/or providing supervision and training to others in the implementation of behavior support plans.
