Job description
The Sr Client Service Associate partners with associates in Distribution and Operations, among other internal teams, to serve financial advisors of High Net Worth clients investing in the company's products. Under general supervision, the role frequently communicates with advisors and sponsor offices and focuses on onboarding new client accounts, delivering reports, and working with business partners to service client needs throughout the client lifecycle. This role collaborates closely with teams across the enterprise to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities generally fall into four categories:
  • Pre-Setup of Accounts: Assisting with due diligence and ADV issues, setting up initial operations calls, providing Services Agreements, and processing non-standard initial requests.
  • Setup of Accounts: Providing investment management agreements, coordinating with internal parties to determine appropriate account fees, helping to properly execute processing of custodian numbers and customizations, ensuring any proposals provided during the sales process are considered during onboarding, managing expectations for the investment timeline and communicating status, following up on any questions from Operations partners to enable prompt onboarding.
  • Account Maintenance: Providing standardized and specialized reporting, overseeing the contribution and withdrawal process, liaising with internal teams to facilitate client and/or advisor meetings, processing documents necessary to maintain accounts in good standing with custodians/sponsors, addressing any account problems, answering advisor questions and responding to their requests (restrictions, customizations, etc.), processing terminations, generally serving as a point of escalation for issues involving the client experience
  • Billing Assistance: Offering fee explanations when needed, following up on outstanding invoices, processing fee updates.

  • 2 years of experience in the Asset Management Industry
  • 2 years of Client Service experience
Preferred Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Asset Management Industry; specifically in wealth/wholesale/retail distribution
  • 3+ years of Client Service experience with a strong customer-centric mindset and approach
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent end-to-end generalist problem solving skills and ability to identify and analyze issues; ability to act independently and judiciously to serve client needs
  • Deep sense of accountability and strong interest in ownership of the role
  • Collaborative engagement style and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong internal and external client service orientation
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-starter that can manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Base Pay Range: $63,300/yr. - $105,600/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
