• Valid California Driver’s License or valid California Driver’s Temporary Permit and ability to have a valid California Driver’s License within six (6) months from date of hire.
• Customer service experience.
• Skills to organize and prioritize workload to complete work effectively.
• Verbal and written communication skills to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English

• Skills to work collaboratively and independently within a diverse team and fast paced environment
• Skills to use computers, access email and other necessary UC programs.
• Knowledge of and skills to operate power machines such as floorcare equipment, and trash compactor, and UCDH vehicles.
• Skills to use pagers, mobile devices, voceras and other communication devices.
  
  

• Incumbent must be willing and able to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and float to other units/areas/buildings/runs.
• This position may include tasks in patient care areas where there are patients under isolation precautions.
• This position may require staff to clean and handle blood/bodily fluids, hazardous materials and chemical waste.
• Uniform and/or protective clothing and/or gear will be provided.
• Job training and orientation will be provided.
• Position is subject to a Functional Capacity Assessment for new hires, a Criminal Background Investigation, and a Physical Evaluation.
• Enroll in the DMV Pull Notice Program.
• This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
