Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Sr Systems & Test Engineer for our Largo, Florida location. The Systems & Test Engineer will be responsible for requirement management, as well as performing verification and validation efforts for the Classified program located in Largo, FL.

The systems & test engineer will be responsible for the execution of a program’s test effort. The systems & test engineer will report directly to the Lead Systems & Test Engineer; and interact with functional management personnel and customer personnel on a regular basis. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures or new testing requirements.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience with Systems Engineering.
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience in requirements management
• Strong organization, coordination, planning and teaming skills as well as good oral and written communication
• Experience working in team or matrix environments

Desired Skills:

• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (e.g. Security +) or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Ability to work in a fast paced IPT (Integrated Product Team) environment
• Experience with DOORS for requirement management
• Experience working with system integration and qualification
• Experience in technical risk management
• Experience in system engineering process development and deployment
• RTX Core Apprentice, Six Sigma Specialist, or equivalent

No travel required (optional potential for travel up to 10%)

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
