Rectory Housekeeper
St. Luke Parish – Southington, CT
St. Luke Parish is seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) housekeeper for the parish rectory.
Responsibilities will include, cleaning the rectory offices and the priests’ residence. Duties will include emptying trashcans, dusting and vacuuming, mopping offices, meeting rooms, hallways and lavatories. Additional duties will include cleaning suites, bathrooms, and the kitchen at the priests’ residence. The Pastor, Office Manager, or Property Manager may assign other tasks, as needed. The housekeeper will also develop a schedule for maintaining all areas and submit orders of supplies to the Office Manager.
Qualified candidates must have excellent organizational skills and willingness to work collaboratively. Good manual dexterity and physical strength are required. Employees must understand and be committed to the social, moral and ethical teachings of the Church; and be able to keep confidences of those who seek the office for assistance.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
