Saxton, Kocur & Associates, LLP is actively seeking an ambitious CPA or CPA candidate to join our growing public accounting firm.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA license or ability and aspirations to become a CPA
• 0-5 years of experience in private or public accounting
• Ability to clearly communicate with clients both verbally and in writing
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to work additional hours as needed

Responsibilities include:

• Audits of financial statements
• Preparation of individual and business income tax returns and financial statements
• Reviewing and adjusting client accounting records as needed to produce accurate balance sheets and income statements for use in preparing client business tax returns.
• Communicating with clients to resolve accounting questions, coordinate tax filings and assist with special projects

Saxton, Kocur & Associates, LLP is a small, established public accounting firm specializing in governmental, non-profit and small business audits, tax planning, tax preparation and consultations for individuals and closely held businesses. We are conveniently located in Jamestown, NY.
