Job Description
Essential Functions
- Maintains knowledge of all policies and procedures as they relate to the cleaning, sterilization and distribution of trays to all the units of the hospital
- Performs biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards
- Collaborates with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner
- May be assigned service-specific technical responsibilities, including collaborating with the Surgical Services Unit Manager and Director of Surgical Services to provide services specific instrumentation, supplies and equipment

Education Requirements
- High School Diploma
Preferred Certification
- CRCST ( Certified Registered Central Service Technician)
- Sterile processing experience highly preferred
