Job description
Summary of Position: Provides patients, nursing home residents, cafeteria and catering customers with responsive food and beverage service.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures products are labeled for freshness and that dates are acceptable for consumers.
- Rotates stock as appropriate.
- Accurately and appropriately handles all business transactions, documenting appropriately and keeping cash secure.
- Runs appropriate reports as needed.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment using chemicals properly. Tasks including but not limited to mopping, waste removal, tray availability etc. Safely handles equipment reporting any malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Sets up work stations, stocks and keeps inventory of supplies such as paper towels, plastic ware, condiments, etc, restocking supplies at the completion of the shift.
Assists in training new and less experienced employees.
Minimum Qualifications: 9th Grade completion required. Previous experience in food service preferred.
