Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is looking for a Supervisor of HIM Services and Site Operations to join our team!

The Health Information Department Supervisor, under the direction of the HIM Manager, is responsible for supervision of onsite HIM staffing, record processing and completion activities, and other HIM activities that support hospital operations. The HIM Supervisor will oversee activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing, maintenance and appropriate release that is consistent with department, health system and regulatory standards and guidelines. The HIM Supervisor will work with coding and CDI units to support revenue cycle efforts and act as Privacy Liaison for the hospital.

• Supervises HIM department day to day operations and ensures that on-site functions are effective and efficient.
• Troubleshoots onsite HIM department issues to find a suitable solution.
• Provides Super User and/or procedural training as instructed by the HIM Manager.
• Provide service to internal and external customers in a manner consistent with core values and results in customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of years of education and experience in a complex, health system.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and either Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential through the American Health Information Management Association is preferred.
• At least 5 years of Health Information Management Experience
• Demonstrated Experience with Electronic (EHR), health information applications and databases

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
