System Administrator/Simulations Operator, FCoE

Summary:
Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified System Administrator/Simulations Operator to support the requirements for the Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE), Mission Simulation Center (MSC) in Fort Sill, OK. This task requires personnel with unique specialty skills and knowledge to provide operator inputs for Leaders and Soldiers during joint fires and targeting exercises at the operational level of conflict. The qualified candidate will support training exercises in accordance with (IAW) the Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery Schools, applicable Programs of Instruction (POI), and published training schedules.
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Shall provide train-the-trainer instruction on virtual systems (CFFT3).
- Shall operate CFFT3 immersive simulators in the stand-alone mode or in a combined/interoperable simulations exercise to support soldier/unit training, capability demonstrations, and new version testing as required.
- Shall support Tours of Facility/Demonstrate Capabilities and provide operator support for tours of the facility and brief system capabilities for government designated groups and individuals.
- Shall perform required operator maintenance tasks.
- Shall maintain, monitor, back up, update, and recover the MSC Microsoft Office Access Activity Report Database as required by the Director, MSC.
- Shall maintain, monitor, back up, update, and recover the Advanced Simulation Technology Inc. (ASTi) Tactical Radio Simulator Telestra Server, associated network, communication scenario data files, and devices to include SME radio sets, loudspeakers.
- Shall perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and other system problems. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Monitor the performance and maintain computer systems, applicable networks, and coordinate computer access and use.
- Shall Install new software releases, updates, and security patches as required by the MSC Government System Administrator or PEO-STRI, Project Manager Instrumentation, Targets and Threat Simulators, and SOF Training Systems (PM-ITTS).
- Must be capable of performing all operator tasks.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, any discipline. Seven years military experience in Fire Support operations and planning preferred.
- Minimum one year (1) experience supporting training exercise operating the CFFT3. One or more years operating/maintaining an Immersive CFFT3 system (AFSM, UTM, and CASM).
- Three years hands on experience working with local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), linking virtual simulations.
- Three years of experience maintaining immersive simulations (CFFT2+, CFFT3) including system integration, network administration, consulting, analyzing, designing, installing and/or maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, or network infrastructure equipment.
- Security Plus certified and have passed the Computing technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Security+ or equivalent certification exam within ninety (90) days after Requirement Award. The Contractor shall be responsible for all certifications as well as all expenses associated with these certifications.
Clearance: Requires a Secret clearance
Location: Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
