SecurCore is a private cloud based MSP that provides HA private cloud hosting and MSP services to clients requiring a high level of uptime and exceptional support. SecurCore specializes in High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Cybersecurity Monitoring. We have been providing advanced MSP services nation-wide for 23 years.

Network Engineer will work as a data center based managed services team member providing advanced support for HA VMware based private cloud services. A high level of experience in a critical corporate environment is required for VMware, SAN and multi-tenant networking such as vLAN switching, firewalls, security devices and related technologies. This position is responsible for support cases that are escalated from Systems Administrators or the customer service team. The Network Engineer works closely with the Systems Administrator and desktop team team to guide and mentor their technical knowledge, problem solving skills and customer interactions. This position will also be responsible for the initiation and planning phases of projects as well as working with other team members for the successful and timely implementation.

The Data Center Engineer should be able to professionally communicate and work with a group, deliver exceptional customer service to our clients, and will be asked to interact with all levels of the organization and the department to assist in making informed decisions. The position provides an exciting mix of implementing new technologies in addition to maintaining the existing infrastructure.

Required Attributes:

Five year's network technologies experience in a corporate environment that includes;

• High-level VMware servers and HA hosts
• High-level SAN and iSCSI management
• High-level Datacenter networking including vLAN based switching, virtual and physical firewalls and wireless devices. Thorough understanding in TCP/IP, routing, DNS and DHCP
• High-level knowledge Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange
• High-level MS SQL Always On Availability Group management
• Medium-level Microsoft SQL (Basic Administration).
• Strong Cyber Security experience, including Modern Authentication and MFA
• Possesses a strong understanding of current IT technologies and trends along with the ability to effectively research and analyze available solutions
• Strong problem solving skills and techniques
• Experience in project planning as well as working with clients to establish reasonable benchmarks for success.
• Experience working with client representatives to address solutions to technical issues and to plan and implement projects.
• Ability to interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to other people.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Works well under pressure
• Self-motivated to learn new skills
• Can be on-call for emergencies
• Takes accountability and ownership
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Requires some travel and the ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.

Desired Attributes:

• More than 5 years in infrastructure management
• Experience working in a MSP team
• Bachelor degree in CIS or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Microsoft MCSA certification
• Microsoft MCSE certification
• Veeam Certification
• Cyber Security certifications
• Ubiquity or other wireless Certification
• SAN and ISCSI knowledge
• Cyber Security Monitoring Experience
• High-level knowledge of VMware virtual environments
• High-level knowledge of wireless technologies

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
