We are currently bidding on a contract providing IT and Cyber Security services for the IT Division within the NSWC Corona Division, Corporate Operations Department, supporting the Command Information Office, Information Technology Operations, Information Management Customer Services and Cyber Security.

We are seeking a Systems Administrator II to join our team. Daily responsibilities include:

Administering, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining operating system and related software.

Establishing and implementing standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.

Troubleshooting and resolving software, operating system, and networking problems.

Scheduling and monitoring system backups and, when necessary, performing data recoveries.

Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.

Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.

Training staff on software applicable to their position, assist customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications.

Position requirements: Compliance with Cyber WorkForce (CWF) directives is required for this role. Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems. 3 years professional experience in systems administration. Secret Clearance required
