The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for the full cycle process of recruiting high-caliber, direct-hire corporate and onsite candidates. The position will also be the subject matter expert on the best performing recruitment sources, while managing the applicant tracking system and promoting the candidate experience. The position will also focus on maintaining excellent relations with Regionals Supervisors and Community Managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Developed recruiting strategies to attract quality talent for exempt and non-exempt positions at all levels.
  • Uses career sites like Indeed, Monster and Career Builder to locate qualified prospective employees. Recruit for all open positions for our properties (managers, assistant managers, leasing agents, maintenance, etc.) and corporate office.
  • Prescreened candidates via phone, virtual, and in-person meetings.
  • Reads and sorts cover letters and resumes.
  • Writes up and posts job descriptions for career/company websites.
  • Schedules interviews.
  • Attend job fairs and careers events
  • Creates list of interview questions based on the position and the company requirements.
  • Prepared offer letters and sent to new hires along with other new hire documents “via DocuSign”.
  • Initiated background/drug screens
  • Presented employee benefits during new hire orientation, as well as assisted them with enrollment.
  • Regional recruitment of Property Management professionals; includes Leasing, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Assistant Community Managers, Community Managers, Regional Property Managers, and Marketing Managers etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Minimum three years’ experience in talent acquisition and high-volume recruiting, for both line-level and management-level positions
  • Expert knowledge of employment law, and working knowledge of current recruitment and talent sourcing practices and strategies, including use of social media and recruiting systems
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with proven ability to establish credibility and partner with business leaders to identify talent gaps and needs, and create and execute talent acquisition plans
  • Strategic, creative and innovative thinking skills, ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team
