SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Manager will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talented candidates for all positions within Nor-Cal Products, Inc. Consults and collaborates with management on strategic recruitment programs, ensuring that recruitment plans align with business objectives, including building a strong employer brand. This is a hybrid work environment where the incumbent is required to be on site in Yreka, California for several days per week as necessary and can live within a half-day’s travel.

Duties:
Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.- Collaborates with HR Generalist to validate accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Prepares job postings and advertisements.
- Proactive sourcing of talent by leveraging multiple recruiting resource techniques to identify and engage candidates. Must be able to research and generate recruiting leads for open roles.
- Assists with screening of applications and performs telephone screenings. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
- Participates in the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring manager, either in person or virtually. Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Preparation and presentation of recruitment statistics, analysis of market conditions and positions to budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Tasks require walking, sitting, bending, reaching, mobility, and occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds). Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks and any stress associated with the duties and responsibilities of this position are essential requirements in the performance of this job. Secondary duties with added requirements may be assigned from time to time.

General Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
- Knowledge of job posting sites and professional social media platforms such as LinkedIn to proactively source qualified candidates.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the ADP Workforce Now recruitment module or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting requirements.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or relevant field, or equivalent work experience, required.- At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desired.
Language Skills
The ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing is essential. Reports, email correspondence, schedules, are all typical requirements of this position and must be effectively and professionally communicated.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to multitask and operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a disciplined approach to oversee all personnel needs. The ability to understand the company’s needs and requirements is essential. Must be able to solve both practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of factors in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are required at the time of hire and periodically thereafter.
TOOLS AND/OR EQUIPMENT
This position uses a computer extensively with demonstrated abilities in the use of Microsoft products as well as other common office type equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position may work in various environments including office, factory or home settings. Employees who are authorized to work from home are expected to comply with all company requirements for core work hours or in-person attendance at company meetings or events.
