About the Talent Acquisition Specialist Position
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Brubacher you will have the opportunity to get out in the community, network and build relationships as you help grow the Brubacher team.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist thrives in making new connections, networking, thinking of new & creative avenues to acquire potential candidates for employment, and consistently promotes the Brubacher brand/culture. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for promoting the Company through in-person activities and at different events. The Talent Acquisition Specialist must be comfortable making presentations, generating interest, and qualifying employee prospects. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our growth objectives.
This role will increase our Company s brand awareness and generate new candidates for employment that meet the Company s core values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with HR and Hiring Managers to create and implement sourcing strategies for active and future positions.
- Provide employment demographic data to inform hiring managers on market conditions.
- Network and build trusting relationships with community, public and potential employment candidates. Develop a broad professional network of talent.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective promotion strategies based on the available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Lead sourcing searches which may include cold calling, networking, identifying applicant associations/pools/professional groups and affiliations, websites, targeted companies/individuals, use of analytic tools, etc.
- Utilize online recruiting resources such as LinkedIn, associations, and university/technical school career center websites to recruit best candidates
- Utilize appropriate Social Media sourcing and branding tools to support with employee attraction.
- Conducts initial screening of potential employment candidates against company core values and serves as company ambassador throughout vetting process to application.
- Coordinates interviews and field tests.
- Attends and participates in high school and college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
- Cultivates and fosters new recruiting relationships with the community and new recruiting areas (i.e. military; work-release; etc)
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Assists with special projects as requested.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Construction Industry experience and knowledge is preferred.
- Some experience & training in role(s) relating to people & screening for potential fit for optimal success.
