Looking for an exciting accounting opportunity in beautiful lakes country in Minnesota? Edge Recruiting has been retained to assist in the search for a CPA Tax & Financial Accountant to join their team in Fergus Falls, MN (in-office, hybrid, and remote available).

This position would ideally work in the office full time, but we are open to exploring hybrid work options or fully remote as well.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax provisions, returns, payments, reports, and maintain a client tax database.
• Ensure client compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Accurately prepare reports.
• Keep abreast of tax changes and industry trends.
• Work directly with clients on tax needs
• There is ample room to add variety to this position with other tasks and responsibilities (accounting services, payroll, etc).
• Our client enjoys making sure everyone is handling duties they truly enjoy and are passionate about.

Qualifications

• Highly self-motivated
• Ability to work well in high pressure situations and under strict deadlines.
• Great time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly accurate and detailed.
• Quickbooks knowledge a plus, but not rquired.
• CPA preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
