This position will closely work with the Manager of Corporate Tax with a primary focus of tax reporting for indirect tax including sales tax, FET taxes and annual tax reports.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the quarterly, monthly and annual tax account roll forwards.
- Prepare of the quarterly, monthly and annual tax reconciliations in Blackline for manager review.
- Prepare sales and use tax returns through the assembly of underlying data.
- Provide tax account analysis in a monthly basis in order to comply with internal control reports.
- Assist in the handling and routing both internal and external tax correspondence to the appropriate parties.
- Responsible for annual reports and maintenance of state registrations as needed.
- Assist in special projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
- 4+ years' experience as a tax generalist with public accounting and relevant industry experience.
- Airline experience desirable.
- Strong computer skills required.
- Organized with good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Able to work under tight deadlines.
- Independent self-starter.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
