Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history of success that spans more than 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are seeking an Attorney for its Tax Practice Group in its Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. This attorney would join a collaborative team advising clients on a broad range of federal, state, and local business tax issues in connection with business restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, multistate tax matters, federal, state, and local tax controversies, and international matters. This is a partner or partner-track position and does not require a book of business.

Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of law firm and/or accounting firm experience dedicated primarily to taxation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Competence and desire to manage independently a variety of active matters
• Enthusiastic work attitude
• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and in good standing
