We are currently hiring a Team lead - Mentor to Youth for our Brush Prairie Inpatient facility working with adolescents. This is a full time position offering competitive pay, benefits and paid time off.
Job Duties:
- Provide the leadership and supervision to instill confidence in milieu counselors on assigned shifts in conjunction with the Milieu Supervisor endeavoring to bring about partnerships.
- Follow through in conjunction with the Milieu Supervisor, with the orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of Skills Coaches on assigned shifts around agency policy and procedures to ensure the Skills Coaches meet the standard performance expectations.
- Coordinate and supervise the Skills Coaches around program components such as recreation, group activities, assigned household chores, security procedures, and housekeeping duties.
- Provide feedback on performance and documentation with assigned skills coaches.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position will be conducted in harmony with Daybreak's mission and values.
Compensation: Starting at $22/hour, depending on experience
Experience:
- Must be knowledgeable in the effects of substance abuse and adolescent development.
- Prior experience with inpatient milieu and counseling
- Must be able to obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor License (AAC) credential issued by the Washington State DOH.
- Current state-issued driver's license
- At least an Associates Art degree, bachelor degree preferred
Shift: Wednesday - Saturday, 12-10pm
