Job Title: Vehicle Systems Application Architect
Location: Sandy Springs, GA (Onsite)
Hire Type: Full-Tim with ATOS | Syntel
Job Overview:
The application architect will work closely with the enterprise architecture and application development teams to design future solutions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience architecting, designing, and/or engineering solutions in large public/hybrid cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and know how to connect with engineering leaders, architects and developers.
Responsibilities:
They should understand how to set-up, secure and manage:
- GIT repositories and teams Jenkins pipelines Black Duck scans Kubernetes clusters and namespaces Helm for deploying images into Kubernetes In collaboration with the internal IT teams, Managed Services Providers and Mercedes Center of Competences, this position will give directions regarding software tools and platforms and will be responsible for integrating the new solution components within the existing system landscape.
- He or she will be an active participant in projects for implementation.
- The candidate will be responsible for providing effort estimates for work packages, timeline management and communications to support the business throughout the various systems supported.
- In collaboration with the rest of the team, the candidate will maintain current and accurate system documentation for new and existing applications.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) with demonstrated experience in designing and deploying software:
Knowledge of agile project management methodologies Coding and design skills.
Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Test-Driven development Domain-Driven design and event driven architectures (hexagonal architecture) Creational, structural and behavioral design patterns Cyclomatic and cognitive measures (SonarQube scans).
Designing and implementing Microservice architecture Messaging and Streaming (MQ and Kafka) Monitoring and tracing of requests through distributed systems
Process/Project development in the automotive field and specifically areas of Sales and Distribution and Logistics Knowledge of IT security, IT Infrastructure, Scalability, Middleware, Integration and Application Recovery Excellent written and oral communication skills.
