Job Title: Technical Assistant

Location: Houston Texas USA 77002

Mode : Contract (12+ months)

Is Remote option available during COVID: No (Onsite required from day 1)

The successful candidate will provide direct technical administrative support to engineering and operations within the drilling and completions organization. The position requires a high energy individual who is self-motivated, works independently as well as in teams, and has demonstrated the ability to multi-task and use independent judgment within the scope of his/her responsibility. The individual should be able to discreetly and routinely handle confidential information and establish a positive and professional working relationship with and communicate among team members, customers, and other staff members. No business travel is required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a Wells function
  • Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be in proficient in excel and able to analyze data, create pivot tables and charts
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and effective manner, orally, and in writing; listens and takes directions quickly; maintains tactful and professional demeanor in all situations with all levels at organization and outside organizations.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details are crucial.
  • Ensure quality results when proofing documents so they are error-free and returned to the customers within the timeframe requested.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Takes initiative and is a team player.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Technical Assistant
  • Proficient in SharePoint, Database entry, operations daily reporting systems, and other Wells software applications and data management.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $9.85 - $23.19 per hour
