Objective

To manufacture and produce parts with highly automated equipment for the automotive industry which provide safety to drivers and their passengers. Ensure equipment is well maintained to run without break downs and idle time.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all safety and quality start-up procedures are followed.
• Authorized to stop the process if it does not meet safety and/or quality requirements and notify Leader, Supervisor or Quality personal immediately. Follow Leader / Supervisor instructions.
• Operate the machine efficiently. Able to clear stoppage conditions quickly and safely. Perform minor regular maintenance work.
• Participate in trouble shooting activities to improve and repair machines.
• Maintain detailed problem follow-up sheets listing all production interruptions.
• Follow the escalation process to quickly resolve problems.
• Maintain detailed hour by hour production report documenting all downtime, scrap, and quality incidence.
• Produce quality parts following SWI (Standard Work Instructions) and JES (Job Element Sheets)
• Following all required inspection requirements at the specified frequencies.
• Follow all applicable processes including but not limited to control of nonconforming outputs, labeling, and production reporting
• Problem solves issues following MPTSH standard problem-solving process.
• Participate actively in the company continuous improvement programs and improvement workshops
  

Additional Skills

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and correspondence such as safety rules and operating instructions. Ability to document forms as required by position. Able to communicate in English effectively, (read and write).
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP system.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Communication Skills: Ability to use active listening. Communicate with different organizational levels in English.
Problem Solving Skills: Ability to think process oriented and apply the MPTSH standard structured problem-solving process.
